Submission of economic activity reports
Pursuant to § 35 of the Land Improvement Act, in order to operate in a land improvement area, an entrepreneur is required to submit a business activity notice to the Land and Spatial Development Board.
An entrepreneur is a company that has a corresponding legal relationship with a responsible specialist or, in the case of a sole proprietor, is itself a responsible specialist.
An economic activity report must be submitted if the company operates in the following areas of land improvement:
- land improvement research;
- land improvement system design;
- land improvement owner supervision;
- land improvement expertise;
- land improvement construction.
The entry of economic activity report data into the register of companies operating in the field of land improvement is carried out on the basis of the MATER statutes.
The following shall be attached to the economic activity report:
- a copy of the document certifying education;
- a list of work performed;
- proof of payment of the state fee.
The economic activity report shall be signed by a member of the management board of the company and the responsible specialist.
The economic activity report shall be submitted to the Land and Spatial Development Board:
- via the customer portal
- electronically at [email protected]
- on paper to Mustamäe tee 51, 10621 Tallinn
If the economic activity notice is submitted in a manner other than via the customer portal of the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture, a state fee of €10 shall be paid (State Fees Act, § 345).
