Maintenance of state land

The Land and Spatial Development Board maintains the state-owned land for which it has been authorized. The necessary work on state-owned land is ordered as a public procurement, in which participation takes place through the public procurement register.

How is state land maintained?

In order to keep state land in good condition and ensure its lawful use, we carry out the following work:

  • maintenance work: mowing, snow and ice removal, litter collection;
  • demolition of dangerous and dilapidated buildings and ensuring safety;
  • removal of dangerous trees and branches;
  • maintenance and repair of land improvement structures;
  • cleaning up waste illegally dumped in nature;
  • termination of unauthorized use of state land.

If you need information about which state land is authorized by the Land and Spatial Development Board, check KATRI or the state real estate register.
