Land granted for use may be acquired by the user during land reform on the basis of the Land Acquisition Act, provided that the land is not necessary for the exercise of state authority, for the performance of the tasks of the local government or for other public purposes. Persons in whose favor the right of use has been established may submit an application for the acquisition of land. The holder of the right of use may also, if they so wish, apply for the termination of the right of use or for the transfer of the contract to their spouse or relative.
